Terms of service
About these terms
These terms cover trytucasa.com and TuCasa’s own plugins and connected services.
Business locations: United States and United Kingdom.
Contact: support@trytucasa.com.
Using TuCasa
TuCasa helps people share homes, discover stays and manage arrangements through their networks and available marketplace features. Access may depend on invitations, verification, membership, family relationships or other eligibility requirements. An account does not guarantee access to every home or feature.
Provide accurate information, keep it current and protect your account. Do not let another person impersonate you or use your verification credentials.
TuCasa’s role
Hosts provide the homes listed on TuCasa. Hosts and guests are responsible for their stay arrangements and legal obligations.
Verification of an email address, affiliation or membership confirms only the check described. It does not guarantee someone’s identity, conduct, reliability or the condition of a home.
Host responsibilities
Have the right and necessary permissions to share the home. Follow applicable laws, lease terms, building rules, registration requirements and tax obligations. Provide accurate descriptions, photographs, availability, prices and material restrictions.
Disclose relevant hazards and keep the home suitable for the agreed stay. Explain payment arrangements, house rules and cancellation conditions before the guest commits. Respect guests’ privacy and use their information only for legitimate stay-related purposes.
Only upload photographs, text and other material you have the right to use.
Permission to share your home
Before listing, confirm that your lease, landlord, building rules and local requirements permit the proposed stay. Obtain required approvals, registrations or permits. Being able to publish a listing does not establish that the stay is lawful.
Shared homes, insurance and longer stays
Explain whether guests will share the home with other occupants or pets, which spaces are private, and which facilities are shared. Keep this information accurate.
Check whether your insurance covers the arrangement. Do not assume that using TuCasa provides insurance.
Depending on local law and the circumstances, a stay may create tenancy rights. Calling it a guest stay or sublet does not override those rights.
Guest responsibilities
Provide accurate dates, guest numbers and intended use. Follow agreed house rules, occupancy limits and payment arrangements. Treat the home, neighbours and other occupants with care. Report significant damage or safety problems promptly.
Do not share private access details with anyone who is not authorized to enter the home.
Requests, confirmations and payments
A search result or submitted request does not guarantee a stay. Availability may change. Rely on the current reservation status and the terms shown for your stay.
TuCasa may collect a service fee through Stripe where a fee applies. Stay payments may be arranged directly with the host using the displayed payment method. Reporting a payment as sent is not the same as the host confirming receipt.
Review the amount, recipient and instructions before paying. Any applicable TuCasa fee should be shown before you commit.
Your content and sharing choices
You retain your rights in content you provide. You give TuCasa nonexclusive permission for storing, processing, displaying and transmitting that content as needed to operate the service and apply your sharing choices, including permitted listing information in authorized integrations.
This permission does not transfer ownership and continues only as needed for those purposes and lawful retention obligations.
Consider what a listing reveals before publishing or sharing it. Recipients may copy or forward links, photographs and information.
Plugins and AI features
Authorized TuCasa plugins and connected assistants may access the service within their granted permissions and your account’s eligibility. Authorization does not allow bypassing access controls or collecting information outside those permissions.
The current plugin can search eligible public listings, retrieve limited listing information and provide signup links. It cannot confirm bookings, make payments or publish a home.
AI answers may contain mistakes or omit details. Check the TuCasa website and applicable stay terms before deciding. Do not give an assistant passwords, verification codes, payment credentials or unnecessary household access information. Separate AI providers have their own terms and policies.
Acceptable use
Do not commit fraud, impersonate someone, misrepresent a home, harass, threaten or unlawfully discriminate. Do not violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, collect member information for unrelated marketing, bypass access controls, misuse invitations, or interfere with the service.
Report misuse to support@trytucasa.com. Contact local emergency services for an immediate safety threat.
Access restrictions and account closure
TuCasa may restrict access or remove content when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns, eligibility requirements or legal obligations. Private ratings may affect access to new marketplace activity. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
Closing an account does not itself resolve outstanding payments, disputes or stay obligations.
Service availability and legal rights
Features may change or become temporarily unavailable. Information supplied by members and external providers may be incomplete or inaccurate. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Questions and disputes
Contact support@trytucasa.com first so we can try to resolve a concern.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the service changes, with notice of material changes and agreement where required. Changes will not unlawfully remove rights applying to an existing stay.
